Service: Full AV & Technical Production
Following our previous F1 event production work—including Williams Racing car launches and sponsor-led activations—The Production People were back in action near Imola, delivering full AV and technical support for AWS during a high-end VIP retreat hosted by Fury.
Although Imola has now been dropped from the F1 calendar in 2026 in favour of Madrid, the region’s deep-rooted connection to Formula 1 made it the perfect backdrop for this exclusive event, held at the stunning Palazzo di Varignana.
Scope of Work
The brief was to provide seamless AV for AWS stakeholders across a multi-day retreat. From conference content delivery to informal evening setups, we handled every aspect of the technical production, including:
- Yamaha QL1 audio desk
- 8-way radio mic kit
- 8 x small speaker PA system
- 4 x 4K 85” LED screens
- 2 x 49” LED screens
- Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K switcher
- 2 x 4K laptops
- Small stage setup
- Branding light boxes
- Evening meal PA and battery-powered LED uplighting
Challenges in the Field
Due to late changes in the technical specification, our ATA Carnet application came right down to the wire. With gear crossing borders and a hard deadline for the retreat, our operations team pulled out all the stops to ensure everything cleared in time.
The venue, while luxurious, wasn’t originally designed for AV-heavy conferences. With no dedicated event power for a setup of this scale, we had to get creative – identifying available supplies across the property and distributing the load strategically to keep everything running smoothly.
Final Thoughts
This project is a great example of how TPP combines precision, flexibility, and humour under pressure. Whether it’s an F1 car launch or a luxury brand retreat, we bring the same commitment to high-quality delivery -even when the logistics threaten to distract.
From late carnet approvals to power workarounds, the AWS VIP Retreat showed that top-tier F1 event production isn’t just about kit—it’s about people who can adapt, collaborate, and make things happen without breaking a sweat.
Whether live, hybrid, or televised The Production People are ready to make it happen.
